Creech sentenced to 75 years in prison for Llano County murder case
LLANO — A Llano County jury Aug. 29 sentenced Thomas Barkley Creech to 75 years in prison after finding him guilty of murder in the June 2010 shooting death of Mark Patrick Shurish.
According to video statements played for jurors on the second day of the three-day trial, Creech, 35, believed he was carrying out an execution on the orders of members of a motorcycle gang in a drug turf war.
