Quartet wins Marble Falls Athletic Booster Club tourney
KINGSLAND — The team of Steven Shipley, Jaxon Shipley, Keith Hendrix and Cade Johnson placed first at the first Marble Falls Athletic Booster Club golf tournament July 28.
The event raised $16,800 and netted $12,000. One of the top items on the club’s to-do list is to get a heating and cooling system for the high school’s new weight room, which was complete in early June.
