HORSESHOE BAY — The Randall Hibler Memorial Golf Tournament is June 16 at the Ram Rock course at Horseshoe Bay Resort.
The four-man scramble tournament begins at 1 p.m. at the golf course, 200 Hi Circle Drive.
The tournament honors Randall Hibler, a Marble Falls High School student who died in a car accident Feb. 16, 2008.
Lee Hoffpauir Inc. will offer a car as a hole-in-one prize. A hamburger buffet, silent auction and raffle also are part of the tournament.
Cost is $100 per golfer.
"There is no cap on players," said Tammy Goodman, Hibler’s mother. "I’m hoping for at least a full 18 teams. We haven’t had it in a couple of years."
The money funds $500 scholarships. In January, money was given to the Burnet County Livestock Show. Goodman also hopes to give money to the Marble Falls High School Angler’s Club because Hibler was an avid fisherman.
"Half the players (knew Hibler)," Goodman said. "His friends come out and play. We have a close-knit group."
