Marble Falls golfers compete at district meet
BURNET — The Marble Falls High School boys golf team completed the first round of District 25-4A play April 9 at Delaware Springs Municipal Golf Course.
Marble Falls No. 1 shot a 345, while Marble Falls No. 2 finished with a 381.

Marble Falls No. 1 was led by Joe Portillo’s 80, Chad Chesnut’s 81 and Dawson Taylor’s 87. Nick O’Connor shot a 97, while Collin Smith finished with a 99.
Micah Wooten shot an 89 to lead Marble Falls No. 2, while Chris Gregg finished with a 91, Ben Mezger shot a 95 and Taylor Tackitt hit a 106.
Lake Travis No. 1 led with a 290, while Cedar Park No. 1 shot a 300.
