Faith boys fight back but come up short against Austin Waldorf
MARBLE FALLS — The Faith Academy boys basketball team lost 55-41 to Austin Waldorf Jan. 28.
After trailing 16-7 in the opening period, the Flames could have folded.
After all, Faith (7-13, 3-6) had already lost 52-28 to the Roadrunners (8-0), the district’s top team.
Instead, the Flames went to work. They began to match Waldorf’s intensity, holding the Roadrunners to six points in the second quarter while dropping in 13.
