Burnet places 6th out of 9 teams

WACO — For the second straight meet, a member of the Burnet High School swimming team broke a meet record. This time at the Winter Classic hosted by Waco Midway.

Seth Timmons finished the 500-yard freestyle in 4 minutes 58.07 seconds to set the record. Ashlea Beckner placed first in the 100-yard backstroke, while Mandee Harris won the 50-yard freestyle.
