AUSTIN — The Faith Academy girls basketball team took Austin Waldorf’s best shot Jan. 10.

It wasn’t enough as the Lady Flames (20-4, 3-0) prevailed 56-40.

Faith head coach Jerry English said Waldorf raised its level of play by hitting wide-open shots, including some 3-pointers, that caused their fans to give the home team a home-court advantage.

"I was really impressed with them," he said. "They played hard. It had a playoff feel."
