Lady Flames open Holiday Tournament with victory
MARBLE FALLS — Faith Academy junior shooting guard Bailey Brinkley nailed a 3-pointer to start the scoring against St. Michael’s on Dec. 30.
Brinkley’s shooting isn’t unusual. But that she hit a long jumper, the first of several in the quarter, set a tone against which the Crusaders struggled.
The result was a 64-50 victory in the opener of the Faith Academy Holiday Tournament.
