Marble Falls doubles team make all-district
MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School girls doubles team of junior Kelsey McCasland and freshman Madison Dyer were named second team all-District 25-4A.
The Lady Mustangs lost to Leander Vandegrift in a close third-set tiebreaker but had beaten doubles teams from Cedar Park High School, Cedar Park Vista Ridge and Dripping Springs.

So when nominations were due, head coach David McDonald put up the doubles team’s record, which made it easy for coaches to vote.
“They only lost two or three matches all season,” he said.
In addition, each was an honorable mention in girls singles.
“I’m not surprised,” McDonald said. “I’m very optimistic on what they might do in the spring. They’re playing with heart. They’re both good athletes.”
