Mustangs can’t ‘stop bleeding’ in 69-39 loss to Temple

TEMPLE — The Marble Falls High School boys basketball team lost to Temple 69-39 on Dec. 13.

The Mustangs (3-11) trailed 12-9 at the end of the first, but Temple began the second period with a 12-3 run.

Head coach Bruce Etheridge called a couple of timeouts to resettle his squad, but nothing stopped Temple.

"We couldn’t stop the bleeding," he said.
