MARBLE FALLS — Hillary McCasland has been named the assistant tennis coach at Marble Falls High School, athletic director Cord Woerner announced.

McCasland also is the physical education teacher at Marble Falls Elementary School. She was at Spicewood Elementary School but went to Marble Falls Elementary School when P.E. teacher Denise Frasier retired.

“She does a great job working with kids and does a very good job motivating,” Woerner said. “She’s very upbeat and positive. She’ll be a great asset to them out there.”

McCasland played the sport, Woerner said, but also is able to teach it.

“She’s going to be able to get out there and get with our kids and help them,” he said.
