BURNET — Getting a layups and hitting free throws turned a close game into a blowout for the Burnet High School boys basketball team.

The Bulldogs (2-0 in District 25-3A) on Tuesday stomped Taylor, 65-49. But with Burnet leading,  31-23, at the half and 39-26 headed into the fourth quarter, head coach Roy Kiser decided to change up the way the game was played.
