Vicki Lea Schriever
Vicki Lea Schriever, 61, lost her battle with lung cancer in Austin March 6, 2010.
She was born in Minneapolis Aug. 26, 1948, and spent her entire life as a nurse, caring for others.
She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Llano, where she was a deacon and Sunday school teacher, which she dearly loved.
She’ll be missed by all who knew her; she loved everyone she met.
Survivors include her husband John, after 20 years of marriage (together for 26 years); son Patrick Scarpone of Minnesota; and adopted children Michael and Carolyn Schriever of Hastings, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her son Tony Scarpone and mother Donna Boland.
Internment will be in the family plot at Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster, Wis., in June.
A memorial will be held 10 a.m. March 23 at the First Christian Church, 1105 Oatman St. in Llano.
