Catharine Henze Feigl

Catharine Henze Feigl, 100, died March 13, 2010. She was born in Dinklar, Hanover, Germany on March 13, 1910, and immigrated to New York City in 1925.

She attended school in New York and was employed as a secretary until July 18, 1931, when she married Frederick Michael Feigl; they lived in Yonkers, N.Y., until 1965 when they moved to New Fairfield, Conn.

She was active in the Republican Party and an ardent gardener and member of Garden Clubs of Brewster, N.Y., and Yonkers and later Marble Falls after she moved to Horseshoe Bay

Survivors include daughter Barbara F. and son-in-law Ramon L. Burke; grandsons Robert L. Burke of Austin, Thomas E. Burke of Horseshoe Bay and Frederick Douglas Feigl of Dallas; and granddaughter Susan Feigl Hibbs of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her son Frederick John Feigl of Plano, who died in 1994.

Private services and inurnment will be at the Memorial Wall of the Congregational Church of New Fairfield, Conn.
