Lynda Sue Harned
Lynda Sue Harned, 69, of Burnet died June 22, 2012, with loved ones by her side. She was born in Brownwood on Aug. 12, 1944, to Thomas and Ruth Lester.
Known as “Nana,” she will forever be remembered. She had so many family and friends who loved her. She was a lifelong caregiver to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Harned; son Kenny Harned and wife Vivian of Fort Davis; daughter Julie Harned Groot and husband Paul of Little Rock, Ark; sister Nelda Lawson of Schulenberg; and brothers Travis Lester of Tyler and Fred Lester of Granite Shoals.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and a sister.
The family thanks the wonderful nurses and staff of Odyssey Hospice for their love and tender care of “Nana.”
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. June 25 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
A service is 10 a.m. June 26 at the funeral home with a graveside service at Burnet Cemetery.
