Norman Ray Robinson
Norman Ray Robinson, 71, of Buchanan Dam died Sept. 21, 2011. He was born in Franklin on June 23, 1940, to George T. and Annie Mae Lindsey Robinson.
He served during peace time with the Marines. He married Patsy Travis in Odessa on Jan. 13, 1965. He was a 32-degree Master Mason with the Llano Masonic Lodge No. 252 and was employed as a machinist for many years.
In addition to his wife of Buchanan Dam, survivors include children Shirley L. Browder of Fort Worth, Ronnie R. Robinson of Odessa, Kala McKenzie of Kingsland, Karl and wife Lura Teal of Kingsland, Kelly and husband Boyd Barron of Monahans, Karen Smithee of Buchanan Dam and Kyle Teal of Kingsland; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brother Larry Wayne and wife Erble Robinson of Odessa; and two nieces.
A service is 2 p.m. Sept. 24 at Putnam Funeral Home & Crematory, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008, with Masonic Services and the Highland Lakes Honor Guard furnishing military honors.
