David Woodrow Sprouse Jr., 50, of Bastrop died Aug. 22, 2011, at South Austin Hospital. He was born in Austin on June 27, 1961, to David W. Sr. and Lou (Dykes) Sprouse.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife Helen; mother Lou Sprouse of Granite Shoals; children Bobby Allen and husband Nicholas and Stephen Curtis and wife Marie; grandchildren Katie, Megan and Jeremy David; brother Kenneth Sprouse and wife Tracy; sister Sandra Hart and husband Jeff; niece Melissa Lou; and nephews Kenneth Jr. and Joseph David.
He was preceded in death by his father; son Michael Cantrell; and sister Bonnie Lou.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. Aug. 24 at Buck Cemetery in Liberty Hill with Pastor Ed Walker officiating.
