Thomas Arthur Moody
Thomas Arthur Moody, 79, of San Saba County died March 26, 2010. Born Dec. 29, 1930, in Danbury, Conn., he was the son of Joseph Moody and Carrie Wood of Brewster, N.Y.
He married Martha Sue Hoffmeyer of Tyler Aug. 17, 1957.
He was a graduate of Becker College in Worcester, Mass., and worked 38 years at General Electric Co., where — among many managerial assignments — he supervised the cooking-appliance business.
Survivors include his wife; sons Thomas of Quitman, Miss., and Matthew of San Saba; daughter Elizabeth of San Saba; daughter-in-law Theresa Moody of Quitman, Miss.; son-in-law John Hoenow of San Saba; and six grandchildren.
