Gus Fredricks Richardson

Gus Fredricks Richardson, 89, of Burnet, died March 17, 2010. He was born July 22, 1920, in Houston. 

He was in the U.S. Coast Guard for five years. For most of his life, he was a machinist. Each morning, he enjoyed waiting on a phone call from his son Harold. Then he was off to McDonalds to have coffee with the morning Coffee Club group at McDonalds.  

Survivors include son Harold Richardson of Georgia and grandson Blake Lee Richardson of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his wife Daisy in 1999 and three sisters.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. March 21 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet with the Rev. Rodney McGee officiating.
