Lady Dawgs get their ‘big win’
BURNET — The Burnet High School girls basketball team honored seniors and parents by demolishing Taylor 87-22 Feb. 3.
“We were focused,” head coach Mike Cavender said. “The kids wanted to go out with a bang and a big win.”
The Lady Dawgs (18-12, 7-2) had something else to play for —a playoff berth — which they secured with the victory.
