Frank Randolph “Buddy” Rogers Jr.

Frank Randolph “Buddy” Rogers Jr., 87, of Hoover’a Valley, Texas, passed away March 24, 2016. He was born to Frank and Lou Wilma (Norris) Rogers Sr. on Nov. 20, 1928, in Austin.

After proudly serving his country in the Army during the Korean War, Buddy used the GI Bill to go to college and get a degree. He was in the insurance business most of his life. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and making furniture.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda; sons, Rick Rogers and wife Belinda of Rockport and Mark Francis and Debby Sanders of Fort Worth; sister, Dorothy Stacks of Austin; and one grandson.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service is 11 a.m. April 2 at the Hoover Valley Cemetery Chapel on Park Road 4 in Burnet County.
