Michael Dean Holbrook, 56, of Granite Shoals dies Sept. 12, 2014
Michael Dean “Mike” Holbrook, 56, of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away Sept. 12, 2014. He was born to Dean and Mary Viola (McKillip) Holbrook in Monahans, Texas, on Feb. 26, 1958.
Mike was an avid motorcycle rider and drove race cars. He operated a motorcycle repair business in Granite Shoals. He married Christina Monroe on April 14, 1984.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Chris Holbrook of Granite Shoals; children, Amy Brown and Samantha Escobar, both of Amarillo, Kare Ogles of Alabama and JoAnn Holbrook and James Holbrook both of Granite Shoals; five grandchildren; and stepbrothers and a stepsister.
A casual memorial gathering and pot luck is 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 27 at the American Legion Hall, 200 Legion Loop in Kingsland.
