Claude Lawson Fletcher, 80, of Granite Shoals dies Sept. 22, 2014
A service for Claude Lawson Fletcher, 80, of Granite Shoals is 10:30 a.m. Sept. 26 at the Highland Lakes Church of Christ in Kingsland with Jay Lockhart and Joe Winnett officiating.
Claude was born Oct. 7, 1933, in Roaring Springs, Texas, to Claude and Kate Burrus Fletcher and passed from this life Sept. 22, 2014, in Marble Falls.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and community member. He adored his family and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, serving as an elder for more than 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deanie, on Feb. 20, 2009; his parents; and twin brother, Charlie Fletcher.
He is survived by his son, Paul Lawson Fletcher and wife Terri of Granite Shoals; daughter, Susan Fontenot and husband Paul of League City; sisters, Betty Jordan and Kay Hobbs; brother Danny Fletcher; grandchildren, Terra Rhodes and husband Chris, Kyle Gaines, Jordan Fontenot and Jessica Fontenot; great-grandchildren, Emma Rhodes and Eli Rhodes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sept. 25 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.
