OBITUARY: Dana Yvonne Running, 56, of Kingsland dies Nov. 11, 2013
Dana Yvonne Running, 56, of Kingsland passed away Nov. 11, 2013. She was born to Nathan and Betty (Bell) Evers on April 18, 1957, in Austin, Texas.
Dana worked as a cook and a cashier. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, camping, dancing, singing and, in general, life. She married Jeff Running in 1987.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jeff Running of Kingsland; daughters April Berube of Waco and Lisa Duncan of Paris, Texas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Nathan Eugene Evers of Leander; sister, Nancy Evers of Florence, Texas; mother and stepfather, Betty and Eric Dietzel of Leander; niece Cherie McMillan of Kingsland; nephew Randal Jones of Kingsland; and other nieces and nephews.
Dana was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Evers, and daughter, Laura Peck.
A celebration of life service is 2 p.m. Nov. 22 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. Eric Dietzel will officiate.
