OBITUARY: Michael Kent Garrison, 56, dies May 5, 2013
Michael Kent Garrison, 56, of DeSoto, Texas, passed away May 5, 2013. He was born Dec. 10, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to Samuel Marcus and Barbara (Satphine) Garrison.
Michael served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Rae Moore of Virginia Beach, Va.; estranged wife, Rose Garrison of Sahuarita, Ariz.; father, Sam Garrison and wife Dody of Marble Falls; sisters Kathy Anderson and husband Mark of Witheville, Va., Becky Savage and husband John of DeSoto and Julie Dube and partner Kelli of Round Rock; brother, Jesse Garrison and wife Debbie of Marble Falls; three grandchildren; 13 nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Garrison; and sister Kristi Hoover.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. June 5 at Highland Lakes Church of Christ in Kingsland. Inurnment will follow at 3 p.m. in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
