OBITUARY: Beverly Thompson Anderson, 55, formerly of Marble Falls, dies May 7, 2013

Beverly Anderson, 55, of Hutto, and formerly of Marble Falls, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, passed away May 7, 2013, after a brief illness due to cancer. Beverly was born Nov. 15, 1957, in Burnet, Texas, the only daughter of Bert and Brownie (Glimp) Thompson.

Beverly grew up the younger sister of Greg, Donald and Johnnie.

At the time of her diagnosis, Beverly was working in Odessa for West Texas Feeders, where she had been employed for 10 years. Beverly was a Master Gardner, an avid bowler and a good friend to many. She had a heart for animals, often taking in strays and giving them a home.

Beverly loved her family and friends most of all and was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Greg and Donald.

She is survived by her son Michael, his wife Gena, granddaughter, Jocelyn, and grandson, Luke, all of Hutto. She is also survived by brother Johnnie and wife Robben of Meadowlakes; niece Chrystal Whiteside and husband Wade; nephew Donald Thompson Jr. and Dela Greenway; nephew Layne Thompson; great-nephew Braidon Whiteside; and great-niece Haylee Whiteside.

The family has honored Beverly’s wishes, and she will be cremated. A visitation is 5-7 p.m. May 10 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Texas Oncology, Hospice Austin, Christopher House and San Gabriel Rehab and Care Center for the loving care provided during Beverly’s illness. The family also would like to acknowledge and thank all of Beverly’s friends, who have supported her during this difficult time.
