OBITUARY: Eloy Ramirez, 50, formerly of Marble Falls, dies April 23, 2013
Eloy Ramirez, 50, of Houston, and formerly of Marble Falls, died April 23, 2013, in Houston. He was born to Louis and Clarita Rachael (Rocha) Ramirez on May 5, 1962, in Robstown, Texas.
Mr. Ramirez enjoyed riding motorcycles, was good at everything he did and was a hard worker. He spent several years in the concrete business as a laborer in the Texas Hill Country. He was employed in the landscape business at the time of his death.
Eloy is survived by his wife, Laurie of Houston; daughter, Nancy Ramirez of Houston; son, Eloy Jr. of Houston; grandsons, Isaac, Isaiah, Izekiel and Ilias De La Cruz; sisters, Linda and husband Donald Heath, Sophie Ramirez, Olicia Ojeda and Rachael Ojeda, all of Priddy, Carol and husband Ramon Anaya of Houston and Mary Alice and husband Thomas Lopez of Lockhart; brothers, Richard and wife Olga Ramirez of Comanche and Pablo and wife Melissa Ojeda of Granite Shoals; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his parents.
A rosary will be recited 6 p.m. April 26 at Putnam Funeral Home and Crematorium, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008, with the Rev. Bernard Nguyan Hung officiating.
A Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. April 27 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 205 Trinity Drive in Kingsland. Interment will be at Marble Falls Cemetery.
