OBITUARY: Joyce Burris, 65, of Kingsland loved to dance and sing

Joyce Evelyn Burris, 65, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away Feb. 9, 2013. She was born to Oda and Florinda (Newman) Tway on Nov. 9, 1947, in Beebe, Ark.

Joyce was an entertainer. She liked to dance and sing. She also enjoyed watching movies, fishing and being outdoors. She was a big follower of Michael Jackson.

Survivors include her children, Mischelle Tester of San Antonio and Timothy Clepper of Vista, Calif.; grandchildren, Christopher, Cody, Carissa, Jake and Sashe; and five great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Oda and Florinda Tway.

A graveside service is 1:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton with the Rev. Jerald Moore officiating.
