Holiday home-tour benefits charities

KINGSLAND — The Lambda Nu Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International held a recent holiday home tour with proceeds benefiting several schools and area nonprofits, sponsors said.
Beneficiaries include Llano High School scholarships, Packsaddle Elementary School, the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center, Easter Seals, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and more.
Four homes were on the tour, sponsors said — two in Kingsland and two in Log Country Cove.
The Kingsland homes’ themes were “Old World Style” with a Victorian touch, including traditional red-and-gold colors and a childhood favorite, “A Christmas Story” tree.
The Log Country Cove homes’ themes were “Have a beary Merry Christmas,” with bears and fishing motifs and “Christmas in the Forest,” featuring Ponderosa pine from Colorado.
