MARBLE FALLS — Will Taylor & Strings Attached will perform the Beatles’ “Rubber Soul” album at the Uptown Marble Theater Sunday.

The performance is set for 2 p.m. at the theater, 218 Main St.

Having presented the Beatles “White Album,” “Sgt. Pepper” and “Abbey Road” to thousands in the Austin and Marble Falls area, Taylor and Strings Attached debut their reworking of “Rubber Soul” complete with guest singers David Newbould, Leah Zeger and Jayme of Ivision.

Backing the singers will be a full three-piece string section, drums, trumpet, bass and projection art by Charles Beard.

“Rubber Soul” is the sixth studio album by the The Beatles. The album was first released in December 1965.

Produced by George Martin, “Rubber Soul” was recorded in just over four weeks to make the Christmas market. Critics agree it was a major artistic achievement for the band, attaining widespread critical and commercial success, with reviewers taking note of The Beatles’ developing musical vision.

Tickets for the show are $12 in advance and $15 at the door, and are available online at www.uptownmarble.com; at the R-Bar & Grill, 904 Third St.; and by calling the theater at (830) 693-9996.
