Burnet County Democrats to celebrate a Blue Donkey Christmas season Dec. 11

BURNET — A Blue Donkey gift exchange will be part of the highlights at a Christmas party hosted by The Highland Lakes Democratic Women, the Burnet County Democratic Club and the Llano County Democrats Club.

The party is 6-9 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Highlander Restaurant, 401 W. Buchanan Drive, which is also Texas 29 West. 

Guests can enjoy a buffet at 6 p.m. and the party/program starts an hour later. There will be special awards, a Blue Donkey gift exchange (usually called a White Elephant) and an auction to kickoff next year’s scholarship fund. 

Guests can donate toys and canned goods for local charities.
