Lady Pups fall to the Lady Daubers
“It was a close contest throughout the entire game, but the Lady Pups just couldn’t hold on in the end,” coach Keri Waide said. “We did a good job of breaking the press but unforced turnovers and giving up easy layups on defense proved to be the determining factor in this game.”
The Lady Pups had a very balanced scoring effort, she added.
Members contributing points included Chelsey Lansford, Bryanika Grady and Deniese Hawkins with six each, while Sydney Olson scored five. Mariah Qualls and Ashley Brown dropped in four each and Alex Perez and Catherine Hirneisen had two points apiece.
