Burnet County Cycles caters to bike enthusiasts, outdoor experts
MARBLE FALLS — After operating a motorcycle service-and-repair shop in San Marcos for nine years, Jeff McDonald opened Burnet County Cycles at 1610 U.S. 281 in August.
“I had been riding in this area for a long time and would come here to visit friends. It seemed like this area needed a local, full-service bike repair-and-service shop to prevent riders from having to go to Austin,” McDonald said.
His store also sells a full line of clothing and accessories.
McDonald hopes to add two professionally certified mechanics to his staff by the end of the year for Harley Davidson and metric-cycle maintenance and repair. For more, call the shop at (830) 798-0800.
