The Marble Falls High School volleyball team closed out district play on Friday, Oct. 23, finishing in fourth place overall and securing a spot in the playoffs.

The Lady Mustangs will take on Taylor High School in their first match of the 2026 UIL Volleyball Conference 4A D1 Playoffs in hopes of becoming bi-district champions. The match begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Chaparral High School. Get tickets here.

Marble Falls finished the season with a 15-23 record overall and 4-6 record in district play.

The Taylor Ducks finished the season with a 14-24 record overall and 10-2 record in district play, setting the stage for a fairly even matchup.

For reference, the Ducks faced two opponents who are part of Mustangs’ district this season–Jarrell and Lampasas–and lost both matchups. Both teams finished below Marble Falls in district play.
