Emma Lou ‘Mopie’ Adams
Emma Lou “Mopie” Adams, 74, died Sept. 15, 2010, in Marble Falls. She was born April 18, 1936, the daughter of Virgel and Clara Mae (Felps) Wells.
She will always be remembered by her family and friends as “Mopie.”
Survivors include sisters Loetta Wilson of Johnson City, Florine Stanford of Euless and Ruth McCoy of Marble Falls; brother Buddy Wells of Johnson City and sister-in-law Sally Wells of Johnson City; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alvin in February 2009; and siblings Nancy Tilley, Ray Wells, Dub Wells and Henry Wells.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Sept. 17 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.
A funeral service is 10 a.m. Sept. 18 at the funeral home with Holton George officiating.
Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City.
