Eagle Eye Observatory open for spring stargazing season

Catch a glimpse of the stars this spring at Eagle Eye Observatory at Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park in Burnet, now open to the public for nighttime stargazing sessions.
The observatory, guided by lifelong astronomer extraordinaire Jim Sheets, features high-powered telescopes capable of viewing distant nebulas, star clusters, and galaxies. Daily nighttime sessions, typically starting between 8-10:30 p.m., are available by reservation.
Admission is $25 per adult, $15 ages 5-12, and free for ages 4 and younger.
For more seasoned astronomers, self-guided discovery pads are available just outside the observatory with space to set up their own telescopes.
