Janet Christian
Janet Christian, 78, of Tow died Dec. 4, 2010. She was born Oct. 1, 1932, to Lillian M. (Newby) and Floyd Smith in Richland Springs.
She married James D. Christian Aug. 3, 1949, in San Saba.
She was a seamstress and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband of Tow, survivors include daughters Marilyn Alderson and husband Charles, Donna Nichols and husband Ed, all of Gatesville, and Kristi Christian and husband Ben Buillion of Austin; sons Randall Christian of Burnet, Ron Christian and wife Linda of Waco, and David Christian and wife Kelli of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister Shirley Benton of Richland, Springs; brother Curtis Smith of Richland Springs; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. Dec. 6 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A graveside service is 11 a.m. Dec. 7 at the Bluffton Cemetery with the Rev. Shannon McGee officiating.
