Thomas B. ‘Buddy’ Hutto, Sr.
Thomas B. “Buddy” Hutto Sr., 88, of Bertram died Jan. 12, 2011. He was born in Bertram Sept. 2, 1922, the son of Elisha Howard Hutto and Ollie Starr.
He was president of Farmers State Bank in Bertram from 1972-1987. He loved to hunt and fish, as well as collecting coins. He was an avid University of Texas football fan.
Survivors include his daughter Mary Jo “Jody” and husband John Russell of League City; granddaughter Robin and husband Thomas Register of League City; step-grandchildren Randy Russell of Kyle and Debbie King of Southlake; great-grandchildren Aubrey and Chloe Register of League City; and step-great-grandchildren Dane and Madison Erwin of Southlake.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Ruth Gregory Hutto; son Thomas B. Hutto Jr.; and sister Geraldine Starr Hutto Reed.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. Jan. 14 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
A funeral service is 11 a.m. Jan. 15 at the Bertram Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bertram with the Rev. Daryl Johnson officiating.
