Ava Edgar Willis

Ava Edgar Willis, 59, of Tow died May 1, 2011. She was born in Freeport on April 13, 1952, to W.T. and Marie Patton Edgar.

Survivors include her husband John H. Willis Jr.; sons Johnny Shane Willis of League City and Eric William Willis of Andrews; sisters Harriette Shoemaker, Brenda Howard and Shirley Gray; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Roger Dale Edgar.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. May 3 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444. A service is 11 a.m. May 4 at the funeral home with interment following in Tow Cemetery.
