MFHS takes stage at Fredericksburg Jazz Festival
The Marble Falls High School jazz band performed at the Fredericksburg Jazz Festival on April 12 after a long hiatus from the competition. The band, under the direction of Brandon Sinde, last performed in front of judges at the Tarleton Jazz Festival in 2022. Since then, scheduling conflicts have kept the jazz band from competition. Snide hopes that the program can attend more contests in the future. “It’s always an incredible opportunity for our students to be able to perform for others, especially those outside of Marble Falls, Sinde told DailyTrib.com. “Regardless of the competition portion of things, I think every performance is a chance to showcase our amazing students and the incredible music they can make.” Courtesy photo
