PEC’s LED leads high school students into future

A new program from the Pedernales Electric Cooperative—Learn, Empower, Develop (LED)—offers high school students resources for a career-based foundation.
The video podcast series, geared toward grades 9-12, assists students with résumè building and professionalism. Students and educators within PEC’s coverage area can find resources and learn more at myPEC.com/LED.
“We wanted to create a tool that’s practical, flexible, and truly helpful for all high school students,” PEC Community Outreach Specialist Mikayla Herron said in a recent media release. “Whether they’re prepping for college applications, scholarships, or jumping straight into the workforce, it gives them a strong foundation.”
PEC plans to add content to its LED program and build a library of resources over the coming months.
