Coloring for crosswalk safety

Burnet Municipal Court and the Burnet Consolidated Independent School District hosted a coloring contest for second- and third-grade elementary school students promoting crosswalk safety. Contest winners from the Bertram, R.J. Richey, and Shady Grove campuses were recognized at the Burnet City Council meeting Tuesday. They are:
- Bertram—second-graders Hattie Scout Allen, Wyatt Bell, Adeline Gastelum, and Piper Yartz and third-grader Avery Escareno;
- R.J. Richey—third-graders Joquebede Lara Duran, Blayne Goehring, Eder Ibanez, Miguel Rodriguez, and Leonardo Sanchez;
- and Shady Grove—second-graders Dodger Becker, Gibson Brown, Carter Hicks, Blakeli Knetsch, Luna Solomon, and Sadee Sopp.
