Tickets are available for the 2023 Wine, Women and Shoes fundraiser hosted by the Marble Falls Education Foundation. The event is from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 30 in the Granite Ballroom at Horseshoe Bay Resort, 200 Hi Circle North. Tickets can be purchased online.

“Wine, Women and Shoes is a fun evening of sipping, shopping, dining, and giving to a worthy cause,” said Jeanna Jette, executive director of the foundation. “The evening gives an opportunity to connect with the community in a fun way while supporting deserving students and educators.”

The annual fundraiser gathers philanthropic women with a shared passion for education for a night of wine-tasting, shopping, and fellowship.

“The wine-savvy, shoe-loving women of Central Texas will kick up their heels, sip fine wines from participating wineries, and shop the latest styles from fabulous fashion vendors, all while supporting education in Marble Falls,” Jette said.

Plans for the evening also include a seated dinner and a fashion show presented by Marble Falls High School teachers and students.

“Our fashion show features local boutiques, so you can actually shop the looks after the event and support local small businesses,” Jette said.

A wide array of destination trips, neat products, and even a Goldendoodle puppy will be auctioned off at the fundraiser.

“From local activities to trips to Europe, we will have something for everyone to love,” Jette said.

Participating wineries include Fiesta Winery, Spicewood Vineyards, Fall Creek Vineyards, Ron Yates Wines, and Tattoo Girl Wine. View fashions and products from Plenty Boutique, Maria Victoria, Linked With Ashley, Poole Eye Associates, The Oil Tap, Mustard Seed Jewelry, and ZAGS.

“Our shoe vendor this year is Alvies Boots, which we are very excited about,” Jette said. “Alvies’ mission is to give back by donating a portion of sales to a worthy cause, making them the perfect shoe partner for Wine, Women and Shoes this year.”

Guests can come wearing shoes to enter in the “Best in Shoe” contest. Categories include best boots, flats, heels, and wedges.

“The ‘shoes’ part of Wine, Women and Shoes isn’t just about purchasing new shoes,” Jette said. “It’s also about the women at the event sporting their own beautiful, fun, or unique shoes.”

Funds raised from the event benefit Marble Falls Independent School District students and educators.

“Now, more than ever, schools need outside resources to support academic and emotional success,” Jette said. “Your generosity enables MFISD to offer a robust learning experience focused on academics, character, and leadership to ensure that every student has the opportunity to fulfill their greatest potential in life.”
