Pedernales Electric Cooperative donated school supplies to students across its service area.

PEC collected more than 3,200 school supply donations through its Fill the Bucket back-to-school campaign and distributed them to 11 schools, including Highland Lakes Elementary School, Shady Grove Elementary School and Spicewood Elementary School.

“School supplies are necessary tools that make it possible for every student to learn, create, and feel confident in the classroom,” Mikayla Herron, PEC Community Outreach Specialist, said. “We’re proud to invest in Central Texas students to keep our communities strong.”

PEC also offers free educational programs for students, teachers and parents, including lessons on electrical safety and energy conservation and career-focused activities for high school students.
