Pink Out tees on sale; county fair-themed event is Oct. 19
T-shirts for the sixth annual Pink Out Marble Falls are on sale now through Sept. 17. Youth and adult sizes start at $20.
Pink Out is a community gathering hosted by Marble Falls Fire Rescue that celebrates cancer fighters and survivors and raises money for support groups. It is held in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This year’s event is Oct. 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Harmony Park, 215 Main St. in Marble Falls. It will have a county fair theme and feature fun attractions, including a dunking booth and a mechanical bull. First responders will also devour pies and hotdogs during two separate eating competitions.
T-shirts are available for purchase online and will be ready for pickup at Fire Station No. 1, 700 Avenue N, during the week of Oct. 16.
This year’s tees were designed by Marble Falls Graphics. Purchasers can choose between a 50/50 cotton blend for $20 or a Bella Canvas tri-blend tee for $25.
All proceeds benefit charities that provide aid and resources to cancer patients and their families.
Last year’s Pink Out was canceled in the wake of the sudden passing of MFFR Capt. Sam Stacks.
