Local youths excel at Texas 4-H Roundup
A number of 4-H members from Burnet and Llano counties brought home honors from the 75th Texas 4-H Roundup in College Station on June 8-10. The pinnacle event for all 4-H clubs welcomed about 1,300 young competitors from across the state.

Texas 4-H Roundup contests included qualifying events, for which 4-H members qualified at their county and district competitions, and invitational events. The Roundup was only open to senior-level, or high school-age, 4-H members this year. Additionally, the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation awarded more than $2.7 million in scholarships to 232 youths.
