Belton man dies in U.S. 281 accident
A 20-year-old Belton man died April 30 after the car he was driving crossed into oncoming traffic on U.S. 281 near Marble Falls and crashed into an upcoming pickup truck.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at 9:01 p.m. April 30, Sean Johnston was traveling south on U.S. 281 between Burnet and Marble Falls in a 2008 Subaru Impreza when the vehicle crossed the double, solid yellow lines.
The Subaru struck a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck that was heading north on the highway.
Johnston was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
