BCISD taking nominations for Hall of Honor through Jan. 8

The Burnet Consolidated Independent School District is accepting nominations for the 2021 Hall of Honor through Friday, Jan. 8. People can submit nominations through the BCISD website

In 2014, BCISD started the Hall of Honor to recognize people who have made a difference to the district and their community.

Nominations are accepted in the following categories:

  • Distinguished Burnet High School Graduate — Must be at least 10 years removed from graduating from BCISD. The graduate must have excelled either personally or professionally after graduating, bringing honor to himself/herself and BCISD.
  • Distinguished Former Burnet High School Athlete — Must be at least 10 years removed from graduating from BCISD. The graduate must have excelled in athletics either while at Burnet High School or after graduating.
  • Distinguished Former BCISD School Board Member — Must be at least 10 years removed from the last year of service as a board member. He or she should have provided dedicated service to the district as a board member.
  • Distinguished Former BCISD Employee — Must be at least 10 years removed from employment with the district. The former employee must have provided dedicated service to the district as an employee.
