The Lambda Nu Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha’s Patriotic Dinner Fish Fry fundraiser was slated for AquaBoom in July, but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers rescheduled it to Sunday, Nov. 15.

The event is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Kingsland Masonic Lodge, 900 Texas Ave.

Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased from a Lambda Nu member or by calling 830-798-5906 or 512-793-6999. Meals include fried catfish, coleslaw, hush puppies, pinto beans, and bread pudding.

Due to COVID-19, meals will be served curbside to go. Call one of the above numbers in advance to request boxed lunches, and a chapter member will deliver them to your vehicle when you arrive.

Proceeds go toward three scholarships for Llano High School graduates as well as donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Llano County Meals on Wheels, Kingsland Meals on Wheels, and other local charities.

Fish fry organizer Paula Maxcy noted the organization served more than 200 meals last year and are prepared to serve the same number this year.
