Woman killed in personal watercraft accident on Lake LBJ

KINGSLAND — A 56-year-old Richmond woman died Aug. 17 after a personal watercraft accident on Lake LBJ.
According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Debra Stribling was operating a personal watercraft on the Colorado River arm of Lake LBJ when the craft crashed into a bulkhead and a boathouse at about 8 a.m.
The accident occurred near the Legends Golf Course.
A Burnet County justice of the peace pronounced Stribling dead at the scene.
The TPWD game warden STORM boating accident reconstruction team is assisting with the investigation.
